I've wanted to start an Etsy shop for vintage clothes for some time, but many things held me back, the biggest one being the lack of space to store any inventory. In fact, the thought of amassing more clothes in my tiny closets made me a little crazy. But for years, I would pass over some spectacular vintage find that I was sure would make someone so happy, just not me due to fit or sizing. I would regret that fact and quickly do calculations to see if maybe now was the time to finally start the shop.
Now that I'm in bigger environs, it seems the right time. Most importantly, it just seems like it would be tremendously fun right now. It gives me an excuse to go exploring sleepy hamlets and small towns in the region, where I get to riffle through racks of clothing without guilt. And now that I'm spending less on a rotating, transient wardrobe, I can actually part with vintage finds and feel good about it.
